At Thyregod Bygningsindustri A/S, you will become part of the Velux Group’s competence center for polyurethane skylight windows. In this role, you will join a close-knit team in the casting department on either day or evening shifts.

We are seeking skilled, versatile, and robust workers for their casting department on day or evening shifts, with the intention of permanent employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assembling wooden frames
• Inserting and removing cast items from molds
• Manual deburring/grinding of cast items
• Quality control of items
• Handling and palletizing items
• Recording quality issues and downtime
• General tasks
• Forklift driving, if you hold a forklift license

Professional Skills:

• Practical experience from a production company
• Epoxy certification (if you don’t have one, you must be willing to obtain it, financed by JKS)
• Self-reliant and actively participating in tasks
• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious
• Responsible and reliable

Personal Attributes:

• Fluent in Danish or English (written and spoken)
• Physically fit, as the job is physically demanding, especially for wrists and shoulders, and involves standing for long periods
• Resilient and open to repetitive tasks
• Friendly and approachable
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to present criminal record

Working Hours and Practical Information:

This is a full-time position on either day shifts (Monday to Friday) or evening shifts (Monday to Thursday). Note that working hours may vary during certain times of the year – during peak seasons, it is often more than 37 hours per week (contact us if you have questions about this).

You will be employed by JKS under collective agreement terms, with a start date as soon as possible.
